JG and the team have been outstanding. From the first point of contact to the final pick up (on time at at two... different locations) his comms and help / advice has been fantastic. This included fitting of appropriate tyres, and some very forward thinking spare parts (which we fortunately didn’t need) He is very knowledgable too so if you have any trip related questions he was able to advise re routes, weather and appropriate kit. I will recommend MOTORENTOUR and definitely hope to be back for another tour in the future.read more

I had an amazing experience with MotoRentour in Valadares Portugal. The owner João was super friendly and professional.... He made sure that I had everything I needed before I started my big trip. The motorcycle was in great condition with all the cases we need. João gave me some great tips on how to handle all the Buttons in the handlebar and all the modes from BMW menu. . I decided to use this rental after reading other reviews on google. My friend and I rented motorbikes from MOTORENTOUR ... for a week's trip around Portugal. I took the BMW 1250 GS and my friend the Honda Afrika Twin. The bikes were almost new with only 3,000 km on them. The bikes were clean and perfectly prepared with a complete pannier bag. João, the owner of the rental, explained very clearly the rules of the rental and the insurance conditions. He was also very helpful in explaining the handling of the motorcycles and also recommended the best routes we need to ride. Also the contact 30 days before the rental was very good and fast.Me and my friend rate MOTORENTOUR's service at the highest level, which is why I give it 5 stars.I will definitely use this rental company again on my next trip to Portugal.João, thank you very much to you and your colleague for your professional service.Paweł and Mateuszread more

Exhilarating experience! Joao is a professional of the highest class, and takes care of every single detail to make the... trip the best possible experience. At the same time he is a warm and caring person, makes you feel like you are riding with your riding buddies of old. The routes, roads, hotels and timing are meticulously prepared and executed, everything is to the point. Also, Joao makes sure that the group is a priority so everybody has to fit-in and respect the group in every sense (a certain level of discipline and camaraderie is a must on the group rides). The riding tempo was spirited but safe, and the slower riders had another guide (Vasko) at the back making sure everyone can ride at their own comfort level. Every single detail is taken care of , you are at no time left to your own. This is my second time in Morocco with Motorentour and I will repeat the experience for the third time for sure. I had such a great ride on the 3 Day North Portugal guided tour. Each day, the ride routes and conditions varied from... long sweeping open roads to fun and challenging twists and turns through spectacular hills and national parks. I chose a BMW 750 that was less than a year old and it rode perfectly. Theaccommodations were really comfortable and everything went smoothly. This is a very well planned, fun and organized tour that I plan to ride again on my next visit. Highly recommended.read more

JG was simply the *perfect* tour leader. His service from start to finish was just impeccable. During the tour he was... extremely knowledgeable, engaging, patient, flexible and funny! His route showed us some wonderful riding roads and scenery highlights of Morocco. Coffee/lunch/hotel stops were all well researched and excellent. JG challenged us, but never pushed us outside our capable limits. We always felt he was in full control of matters and looking out for our wellbeing and enjoyment. This must be the gold standard of rental and tour services.Quick and easy going in Communication. Friendly, Open to,... and Understanding of Requests. All out Helpful. Knowledgeable in their Trade. Especially as an older Beginner Rider, I felt very welcomed not only to this Business but also to riding Motorbikes at large.The Tours led us to amazing places and along the beautiful landscapes and vistas of Portugal. It would be great if you could get the Tours through Google Maps (or a different App) as the GPS Units weren't really intuitive, but with two Persons, one navigating and one checking if we were close to the Tour, everything worked out well.You get the Tour Routes also via PDF with Notes and Highlights, which made it really comfortable to plan and discuss each Day's Trip.The Bikes looked and felt very well taken care of. We got them clean and fuelled. Everything was explained with as much detail as you needed.This was one of the nicest vacations I ever had thanks to this company. I will undoubtedly rent again. Great bikes in excellent condition for very good prices! The Africa Twin I rented was pretty much new with only 6000km... on the clock. What a blast it was riding it through the north of Portugal. Sept 2021No problem using JG excellent Motorbike hire service again , this time tried out the new Africa Twin for 5... days and was well impressed , excellent friendly reliable service which is hard to find these days.I could recommend this type of hire to anyone and when you do the figures , if you get the cheap flights into Porto ( in our case ) then it actually costs less to hire than to ride your own bike , you also save a few days travel and the 2000 odd miles plus wear & tear go on the hire bike !!! I´ve rented bike Honda NC750X. Bike was in fact brand new (1400km on tacho), so excelent condition, as other bikes... available for rent on spot. I was contacted by Joao in advance, this proactivity was very pleasant and we delaed details in advance for pick up. We rented a BMW for 5 days for a self drive trip from Porto. Had a great experience with JG. He was extremely helpful... from the start, from when we were planning our trip until when we returned the motorcycle. Very informative, easy to deal with and very accommodating. The bike was dropped and collected from our hotel with no hassle. The bike we got was in great condition, as new and we had no issues with it when travelling around. I had an amazing weekend with a BMW F850GS. The motorcycle was brand new and top spec model. Super responsive engine,... handling was great.
