This is an amazing company. JG responded so quickly with any communication. He spent a lot of time helping us make a... route through Portugal. I brought my own special clutch lever and Lavio installed it then when we returned he removed it cheerfully even though the place was packed with other riders waiting to start their adventure. During our trip JG checked on us to make sure all was well. We could really feel his pride for Portugal and his care for us to have a fun and safe trip. Not only are the humans at this company wonderful, but the bikes were in immaculate pristine shape!!! Thank you so very much for an incredible experience. Rented a 2025 BMW G310GS at 20 years old with A2 license. This was possible for a small extra insurance fee of, in my... case, €15 a day!João is very friendly and warm. He tries to assist you as great as possible. The bikes are well maintained and are mainly the newest models. It was no problem for João to make some adjustments on the bike to make it a perfect fit for our plans. I would highly recommend renting!read more

Wow, a dream come true! My husband and I rented two bikes in Porto/Valdares for a 3-day self guided tour through the... Douro Valley in late May 2025. The bikes were in new condition (an 800 BMW for me, 1300 BMW for my husband) and the riding gear (helmet with intercoms, GPS and jackets & gloves) was great too. JG was thorough with his explanations and easy to communicate with throughout the booking. The self-guided tour was so much fun: the look-offs and special places he GPS'd us to were fantastic. We felt we saw more of Portugal that we even expected. Of course the Duoro Valley was amazing to see, but the insider tips made it really special. If you want to tour Portugal I couldn’t recommend these guys enough. JG was extremely accommodating. Great, great, great!!!Very good communication prior booking. Useful information, tips and advices. All explained as... it should be.Very pro-rider approach, with enthusiasm and positive energy. They are very flexible, all set-up of the rent bike and delivery agreed with out any problems.I was the one unlucky bloke that drop rented bike 😭. Motorentour approached the issue with understanding, saking for my safety first! The damage was estimated on the sport when I returned the bike. We took the bike to Genuine Honda dealership and the quote was done while I wait. There was no fiddling with damage trying to pump up the quote. Obviously it hurt me😩, as the bike was new so the part prices were high...but at the end of the day I got one more extra story to share with friends 😉. I do recommend "premium insurance" it might save you some money 😊The bike was good: brake pads, tyres, chain and sprocket, etc all good as it should be. No technical issues.Highly recommend.I am happy to use them again, when I am next time in Portugal.read more

I decided to use this rental after reading other reviews on google. My friend and I rented motorbikes from MOTORENTOUR ... for a week's trip around Portugal. I took the BMW 1250 GS and my friend the Honda Afrika Twin. The bikes were almost new with only 3,000 km on them. The bikes were clean and perfectly prepared with a complete pannier bag. João, the owner of the rental, explained very clearly the rules of the rental and the insurance conditions. He was also very helpful in explaining the handling of the motorcycles and also recommended the best routes we need to ride. Exhilarating experience! Joao is a professional of the highest class, and takes care of every single detail to make the... trip the best possible experience. At the same time he is a warm and caring person, makes you feel like you are riding with your riding buddies of old. The routes, roads, hotels and timing are meticulously prepared and executed, everything is to the point. Also, Joao makes sure that the group is a priority so everybody has to fit-in and respect the group in every sense (a certain level of discipline and camaraderie is a must on the group rides). The riding tempo was spirited but safe, and the slower riders had another guide (Vasko) at the back making sure everyone can ride at their own comfort level. Every single detail is taken care of , you are at no time left to your own. This is my second time in Morocco with Motorentour and I will repeat the experience for the third time for sure. I had such a great ride on the 3 Day North Portugal guided tour. Each day, the ride routes and conditions varied from... long sweeping open roads to fun and challenging twists and turns through spectacular hills and national parks. His route showed us some wonderful riding roads and scenery highlights of Morocco. Coffee/lunch/hotel stops were all well researched and excellent. This must be the gold standard of rental and tour services.Quick and easy going in Communication. Friendly, Open to,... and Understanding of Requests. All out Helpful. Knowledgeable in their Trade. Especially as an older Beginner Rider, I felt very welcomed not only to this Business but also to riding Motorbikes at large.The Tours led us to amazing places and along the beautiful landscapes and vistas of Portugal. It would be great if you could get the Tours through Google Maps (or a different App) as the GPS Units weren't really intuitive, but with two Persons, one navigating and one checking if we were close to the Tour, everything worked out well.You get the Tour Routes also via PDF with Notes and Highlights, which made it really comfortable to plan and discuss each Day's Trip.The Bikes looked and felt very well taken care of. We got them clean and fuelled. Everything was explained with as much detail as you needed.This was one of the nicest vacations I ever had thanks to this company. I will undoubtedly rent again. Sept 2021No problem using JG excellent Motorbike hire service again , this time tried out the new Africa Twin for 5... days and was well impressed , excellent friendly reliable service which is hard to find these days.I could recommend this type of hire to anyone and when you do the figures , if you get the cheap flights into Porto ( in our case ) then it actually costs less to hire than to ride your own bike , you also save a few days travel and the 2000 odd miles plus wear & tear go on the hire bike !!! We rented a BMW for 5 days for a self drive trip from Porto. Had a great experience with JG. He was extremely helpful... from the start, from when we were planning our trip until when we returned the motorcycle. Very informative, easy to deal with and very accommodating. The bike was dropped and collected from our hotel with no hassle. The bike we got was in great condition, as new and we had no issues with it when travelling around. I had an amazing weekend with a BMW F850GS. The motorcycle was brand new and top spec model. Super responsive engine,... handling was great. Saddle being the only negative point as it's too hard for long rides.The company owner is super friendly and flexible even upgrading my bike choice on the spot.Certainly a great pick for people visiting the country on two roads wheels.
